Deadline
The deadline for the camera-ready submission is Tuesday, March 31th, 2026, AoE. This is a strict deadline; no extensions will be granted. If you miss it, your paper will not be included in the proceedings. We recommend submitting well in advance.
Deadline Flexibility in Exceptional Circumstances
The AISTATS 2026 Organizing Committee is aware that authors in some regions may currently be facing difficult circumstances, including disruptions to reliable internet access, that could affect their ability to meet conference deadlines.
Authors of accepted AISTATS 2026 papers who are unable to complete their camera-ready submissions on time due to such circumstances are encouraged to contact the organising committee at aistats2026@gmail.com. We will make every reasonable effort to work with affected authors to find an appropriate way forward.
We sincerely value the participation and contributions of our global research community and appreciate the patience and cooperation of authors during this time.
Submission Instructions
You must upload one manuscript PDF file (mandatory), one PDF copyright form (mandatory), and one URL link to a GitHub repository with code/datasets (optional).

The PDF file must contain the paper, including references and acknowledgments, and optionally the textual supplementary material. The appendix must follow the paper content (after Acknowledgments and References) in the same PDF file.
Formatting checklist:
- Maximum length is 9 pages (excluding acknowledgments, references, and optional appendix). Use the extra page to address reviewer feedback.

B) Copyright Form (Mandatory)
Download the PMLR copyright form from here, fill it in, sign it, and submit it. One author can sign for all.
C) Code/Datasets (Optional)
You can provide a public URL for code/datasets in the submission form. If you promised to release them, they must be available by the deadline or your paper may be excluded.
If including videos (not the recorded presentation), provide the public URL in the OpenReview form.
How to Avoid Common Formatting Violations
- Appendix must be in the same file as the paper.
- Paper must not exceed 9 pages (excluding allowed extras).
- Paper size must be US Letter.
- Fonts must match the style file.
- Include author names/affiliations in the PDF, matching OpenReview exactly.
- The title must be in title case.
Submission to OpenReview
On OpenReview, you are now able to upload your camera-ready version by clicking on the “Edit” button and then selecting "Camera Ready Revision".
At this point, you can change author order (in the camera-ready form), but you cannot add new authors. No exceptions.
You are only allowed to make cosmetic (minor) changes to the title and the abstract. Major changes may trigger additional review.
Ensure that the metadata on OpenReview (title, abstract, and authors) matches the information in the PDF.
The final version will appear in the PMLR proceedings. You will need to agree to JMLR’s publishing terms (license agreement).
Camera-Ready Formatting Checker
This year, we provide a self-service formatting checker that will help check that your camera-ready submission meets the formatting requirements and that its data is consistent with the metadata on OpenReview. You should go through the formatting requirments in the paper template in detail, and the formatting checker is just to support this and reduce workload and additional correction rounds.
Once you have the camera-ready PDF ready, you can download the formatting checker from below and run it locally:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZKGxXxqXiWLtf3EOkaOPv0KNA7o-5tL9/view?usp=sharing
The checker is a simple Python script. See the included README.md file for instructions on how to run it.
Updated March 14, 2026: the script is updated to correctly handle margin checks.
