Deadline
The deadline for the camera-ready submission is Monday, March 9th, 2026, Anywhere on Earth. This is a strict deadline; no extensions will be granted. If you miss it, your paper will not be included in the proceedings. We recommend submitting well in advance.
Submission Instructions
You must upload one manuscript PDF file (mandatory), one PDF copyright form (mandatory), and one URL link to a GitHub repository with code/datasets (optional).
A) PDF File (Mandatory)
The PDF file must contain the paper, including references and acknowledgments, and optionally the textual supplementary material. The appendix must follow the paper content (after Acknowledgments and References) in the same PDF file.
Obtain a submission code from the style checker by uploading your PDF to this page. The style checker has a 10MB file size limit; reduce large PDFs by lowering figure resolution or compression.
Formatting checklist:
- Max 9 pages (excluding acknowledgments, references, and optional appendix). Use the extra page to address reviewer feedback.
- Main paper + appendix must be in one PDF.
- Do not change the style file or spacing. Contact the Publications Chair for questions.
- Paper size: US Letter only.
- Use the fonts from the style file. Avoid Type 3 fonts (info).
- ALL CAPS section headings as per LaTeX templates.
- Citations in (Author, Year) format, e.g., (Cheesman, 1985), using `natbib` or equivalent.
- De-anonymized: use
\usepackage[accepted]{aistats2026}. - Acknowledgments section (optional) must be before References.
- References section title: “References” – consistent style is required.
- Reproducibility checklist after References, titled “Checklist”.
- Use colorblind-friendly figure colors (guide).
- See AISTATS 2026 Paper Pack for examples.
B) Copyright Form (Mandatory)
Download the PMLR copyright form from here, fill it in, sign it, and submit it. One author can sign for all.
C) Code/Datasets (Optional)
You can provide a public URL for code/datasets in the submission form. If you promised to release them, they must be available by the deadline or your paper may be excluded.
If including videos (not the recorded presentation), provide the public URL in the OpenReview form.
How to Avoid Common Formatting Violations
- Appendix must be in the same file as the paper.
- Paper must not exceed 9 pages (excluding allowed extras).
- Paper size must be US Letter.
- Fonts must match the style file.
- Include author names/affiliations in the PDF, matching OpenReview exactly.
Submission to OpenReview
Submit via OpenReview. The “Edit” button will allow camera-ready revision upload. You can change author order, but not add new authors. No exceptions.
Ensure title and abstract match the PDF and contain no LaTeX markup.
The final version will appear in the PMLR proceedings. You will need to agree to JMLR’s publishing terms (license agreement).
Style Checker Submission Code
- Visit the style checker.
- Provide the paper ID, your name, email, and PDF file.
- If it passes, you’ll get a submission code (valid only for that PDF version).
- PDFs must be under 10MB; compress if needed.
You may edit your camera-ready submission until the deadline.
We thank Roman Garnett for helping set up the style checker.
